As an Engineering Management, professional, I built a reputation for my ability to improve the bottom line through the in-depth process, systems, and data analysis. I can pinpoint risks and seize opportunities to drive change through program realignment and restructuring, skilful contract negotiations, and introducing process efficiencies. I am a business-minded leader and persuasive negotiator with a history of managing complex, high-risk project management and procurement programs for one of the largest procurers in the UN system/Government, for goods, services and construction projects of high volume. I am most passionate about building systems and processes that work. Neat packets of functionality that come alive to make people’s lives easier, transform organizations, and bring in innovative ways of thinking and doing stuff. My strength is my ability to develop a concept and design a system, develop a business plan and implementation strategy, manage a team to build it or build it from the ground up, sell it, and manage it as it matures. I have successfully completed projects for complete project cycle management comprising inception, detailed engineering, procurement, contract management, construction management, defects liability period and project closure. My project management skills have significantly lowered the procurement cycle to nearly 45% and monitoring skills brought average construction period to 40% and most of the projects completed within time. As a reward, my organization gave me vertical promotions I joined as a Project manager for a Province and gradually three other provinces were merged in my jurisdiction.
