Tamer Al-Assa’d is a Water Utility, Governance, and Infrastructure Expert with over 24 years of extensive experience working in the donor, private, and public sectors. Currently, he is working with Chemonics as a Deputy Chief of Party-Technical for the USAID Water Governance Activity and with the World Bank as a Financial Sustainability Consultant. Recently, he led the development of Jordan’s National Water Strategy 2023-2040 and the National Non-Revenue Water Reduction Strategy. Previously, Mr. Al-Assa’d had worked in several managerial positions with international and local organizations. He is a Hubert Humphrey Fellow in Urban and Regional Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds an MBA and MSc in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. Mr. Al-Assa’d is an author and/or co-author of 30 publications in international journals and conferences.
