Umer is DAI’s M&E Director based in Pakistan. He is a dynamic and personable professional, experienced in international development project management, M&E, and capacity building in the areas of economic growth, governance, climate change, education, and health. He has acquired a solid understanding and experience in managing, implementing, and monitoring development programmes in politically sensitive and volatile environments in Pakistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Rwanda, Myanmar, Nepal, Morocco, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. He has a diverse experience in managing FCDO contracts and is fully conversant with FCDO’s monitoring, evaluation, reporting mechanisms, value for money frameworks and expectations. Umer possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, developed through living abroad and working with people at all levels from different cultures, backgrounds and disciplines.
