Job Description

Multimedia Intern – ECLAC Library, Santiago de Chile

Work Location

  • Office

Expected Duration

  • 15 November 2025 – 14 May 2026

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and editing of multimedia products under the supervision of the Head of the Library and designated staff.
  • Produce and edit visual content, including videos and materials for social media, websites, and other digital channels.
  • Assist in recording videos, ensuring technical quality and appropriate visual elements.
  • Organize and maintain multimedia files efficiently, including videos, images, and other resources.
  • Collaborate on creative projects with the Library team to develop innovative and engaging visual concepts.
  • Edit recorded videos according to project briefs.
  • Apply visual effects and transitions to enhance video quality.
  • Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring quality and appropriate file size.
  • Review videos and implement adjustments based on team feedback.

Qualifications/Special Skills

  • Enrolled in or having completed the final year of an undergraduate program (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in one of the following areas:
    • Audiovisual Communication
    • Graphic Design
    • Communication Sciences
    • Film or Digital Media Production
    • Advertising and Digital Marketing
    • Art and Multimedia
    • Multimedia Engineering
  • No prior experience required.

Languages

  • Spanish (native)
  • English (desirable)
