Qualifications / Special Skills
Enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or higher), OR
Enrolled in the final year of a first university degree (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent), OR
Graduated with a university degree as defined above.
Open to broad educational and professional backgrounds; typically candidates have studies/experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence.
Relevant coursework in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Visualization, or Analytics.
No prior working experience is required; training, education, and advanced coursework should benefit the UN during the internship.
Knowledge of data analysis tools is desirable.
Languages
Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.
Additional Information
Visa and work authorization are mandatory for internships in the USA. Non-US citizens/permanent residents must obtain a G4 visa and employment authorization (CPT/OPT/AT).
Minimum duration: 3 months, extendable up to 6 months.
Flexible working arrangements (hybrid or remote) may be possible with written agreement.
