USAID/ Philippines is designing a new multi-sectoral, grant-making facility project to build the capacity of Pacific Island partners for self-reliance. The goal of this anticipated USAID activity is to improve the quality of life of Pacific Islanders by reducing long-term vulnerabilities associated with climate change and disasters through:
• Increased environmental resilience and disaster management capabilities,
• Expanded sustainable market-driven economic growth, and
• Advanced democratic governance.
The anticipated activity will provide USAID a platform to invigorate partnerships within and between Pacific communities in form of sub-grants that strengthen managerial and financial capacity of civil society organizations, among other characteristics.
Responsibilities:
DT Global is seeking a Grants Manager for this anticipated USAID activity and he/she will be responsible for providing overall management of the project’s grants program adherence to compliance to ensure the successful achievement of project goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred
• 7+ years of relevant grants management experience, preferably for USAID or other donor-funded programs.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with USAID contract and grants management policies required
• Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other basic computer applications.
