Support the production, editing, and communication of SSRU digital content.
Assist in drafting communications materials, including social media posts and blogs.
Manage SSRU website and publish approved content.
Update and maintain SSRU’s social media presence on all major platforms.
Organize photo banks, mailing lists, and archival content.
Produce media digest on SSR activities.
Support communication-based activities, including virtual events and visual communication.
Advise SSRU on strategic communication.
Gather, research, analyze, and present information from various sources.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications/Special Skills
Be enrolled in or have completed:
A graduate school program (Master’s degree or equivalent, or higher); or
The final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
Field of study should be closely related to the internship applied for.
Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
Ability to draft news articles and/or social media posts.
Ability to design surveys and polls.
Languages
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Knowledge of French or another UN official language is an advantage.
