Program Background

The Role
The Project Coordinator will support the Program Team in managing and coordinating the full range of project activities. By facilitating communication, managing tasks, and adherence to timelines, the Project Coordinator helps the Team achieve the Program Objectives.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in developing program plans and help outline the timeline and resources required.
  • Facilitate communication with the EQUIP Team, partners, and stakeholders and ensure that all relevant parties are informed about project updates and changes.
  • Maintain documentation including schedules, reports, and meeting notes and ensure that all relevant information is organized and accessible for the Program Team.
  • Manage the arrangement of meetings such as coordination meetings between Government Partners and the EQUIP Program and meetings with stakeholders and core partners.
  • Assist in organizing local and regional events including the Program Launching. 
  • Track project milestones, outputs, and deliverables against the approved workplan.
  • Prepare agenda, minutes, activity reports, and call for meetings. 
  • Coordinate the logistical arrangements for activities to be implemented.
  • Handle and coordinate administrative and financial support for activities (processing financial request, disbursement, settlement, procurement.
  • Contribute to the planning, including coordination with technical partners.
  • Prepare and draft activity reports

About You

You are an experienced Program Coordinator with excellent communication skills. You work independently and adaptable in working with multiple stakeholders. You build rapport easily, ensuring responsiveness, reliability, and results.

Education

  • Degree in education with specialization in Technology and Livelihood Education, Human Development, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Master’s degree (preferred but not required)

Experience

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in education sector, TVET, skills development, or education related projects
  • Experience in work immersion, certification, or school-industry partnerships
  • Experience working in donor-funded or development projects is an advantage

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge of Senior High School curriculum 
  • Understanding of employability, career pathways and workforce readiness
  • Program coordination skills
