Support the APAC Regional Team and APAC Nature Team in administrative-related matters.
Conduct extensive research and support regional capacity-building activities.
Programme Support: Assist with programme tasks, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and organizing documents to ensure smooth operational flow.
Desk Research: Conduct research on financial markets and data analysis to inform strategic decision-making processes.
Capacity Building Assistance: Support the implementation of capacity-building initiatives, training programmes, and resource allocation to enhance team performance.
Other Work Support: Provide assistance to APAC Regional Team and APAC Nature Team members across different functions and tasks.
Qualifications/Special Skills
Meet one of the following criteria at the time of application:
Enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or higher).
Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor’s level).
Have graduated with a university degree and commence the internship within one year of graduation.
Academic background in environmental or nature & biodiversity studies with strong research skills.
Proof of enrollment or graduation date must be provided if selected.
Professional work experience is not required, but a field of study closely related to the internship is required.
Languages
Fluency in oral and written English is required.
Knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
