On March 22, the United Nations celebrated World Water Day alongside the release of its yearly UN World Water Development Report. The theme for 2024 was “Water for Prosperity and Peace” and focused on how collaborative water management can bridge gaps and help achieve prosperity. As the United Nations explores how to leverage water in peacebuilding efforts, we want to spotlight the organizations working to ensure global access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene, or WASH.
