Dr. Barbara (Brazey) de Zalduondo is an international public health policy maker, technical manager and scientist with a global profile and over 25 years of leadership experience in policy development, multi-sectoral stakeholder coordination, HIV programming and research in low and middle income countries. with a special focus on inclusive practice and on social and cultural determinants of health. Integrating her academic, government, private sector and intergovernmental experience and interdisciplinary training in social sciences and public health, she builds bridges between biomedical, social and community perspectives and actors, and manages inter-disciplinary and multi-sectoral consultation and collaboration initiatives to define and achieve common goals. She brings extensive experience, analytic insight, writing and presentation skills and a strong background in social and behavioral research and global development partnership to her work.
