I am a Senior Lecturer and International Customs Advisor, and a graduate of the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies, Canberra University, Australia. I hold a two Masters; International Custom’s Law and Administration, and International Revenue Administration, including six High Distinctions, three Distinctions and two Deans Awards of Excellence. Initially an Officer of Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise, United Kingdom (UK), my professional career spans over 39 years in customs. Since 1994, I have gained considerable overseas experience (including post conflict/ transitional countries: Hungary, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Lithuania, Angola, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Bangladesh, Somalia, Jordan and Qatar), working in and managing multi-national/ cultural teams.
