I have over eighteen (18) years experience in customs and trade, specializing in Tariff Classification, Rules of Origin, Customs related Taxation Policies, Preferential Trade Agreements, Import and Export procedures. My studies at the Center for Customs and Excise Studies/University of Canberra in Australia exposed me to other areas such as Customs Reform and Modernization, the development and implementation of Customs and Tax policies, International Agreements related to International Trade, Risk Management and International Best Practices related to Customs and Revenue Administration including WCO Conventions and tools. My experience also includes conducting business process analysis for customs and trade automated solutions as well as providing training/tutoring related to various aspects of international trade
