Currently with the Basel Institute on Governance managing the UK Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office's (FCDO) and US Agency for International Development supported Tackling Serious and Organized Corruption (TSOC) program in Malawi. Previously led the U.K.'s Strengthening Action Against Corruption (STAAC) program in Ghana; the U.S. Department of State’s Justice Sector Support Program in Afghanistan and the USAID Access to Justice Program in Iraq. Over 25 years of experience in the development and management of democracy, human rights, rule of law, and anticorruption programs, and have served in Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, the Middle East, South East-Asia, and West and Central Africa – for the World Bank, American Bar Association, and the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. A Chicago-Calumet Region Midwest native, received JD from Drake University in Iowa as is licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
