Summary

Donna Kusemererwa is a pharmaceutical and health systems consultant with over 15 years working in Uganda and across seven countries in sub-Saharan Africa providing both technical oversight and consultancy services in medicines regulation, pharmaceutical policy, health system & supply chain systems strengthening among others. She also has considerable managerial expertise arising from management leadership of multi- disciplined teams and large, complex government and donor-funded activities. Her extensive leadership experience and management skills are based on having successfully overseen teams of up to 270 employees, and serving as accounting officer of the national medicines regulatory authority (NMRA) in Uganda, deputy chief of party on a USAID-funded supply chain program and as the general manager of the Joint Medical Store (JMS) a key player in Uganda's pharma sector. She is a strategist and visionary experienced in Governance, providing strategic direction in institutional strategic planning, project implementation, and evaluation to achieve defined institutional goals, objectives, and targets and managing teams to achieve results.
