I am a Professional Engineer, registered with the Engineering Council of South Sudan (ECOSS). I also hold full membership with South Sudan Engineering Society (SSES) and Civil Engineers – South Sudan. I hold a Master of Science Civil Engineering from University of Surrey, United Kingdom, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Hons) from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda. I am currently serving as a Program management Specialist & Civil Engineer with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and a gubernatorial appointee as a technical advisor for Juba City Council, South Sudan from March 23, 2021 to date. Prior to joining USAID, I worked as a Senior Engineer with the United Nations World Food Program where I led and managed the inception, preliminary and detailed design and construction phases of the Feeder and Trunk Roads Program in Lakes States, South Sudan. I have over twelve years of management, contractual, practical, research, administrative and supervisory experience in the fields of management, design and construction of roads, bridges and residential & office structures. My professional interests and capabilities are in the areas of civil engineering project planning, design and contract management and carrying out feasibility studies, site surveys and assessments, design and supervision of roads & bridge construction and vertical buildings. I have excellent listening, communication, and analytical skills.
