Erickson is a Senior program management professional with over 15 years of working experience. He has worked with several humanitarian and development organizations, namely United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Vision International, American Refugee Committee (ARC), Danish Refugee Council (DRC), and Action Against Hunger-USA in various capacities in Rwanda, Central African Republic, and South Sudan. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is completing a Master’s in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid. He has advanced skills in research (both Quantitative and Qualitative) and facilitation skills. Erickson has practical experience in resource acquisition and has facilitated programming in Resilience & Livelihoods, Health and Nutrition, WASH, Protection, Peacebuilding, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Education & Life Skills funded by bilateral, multilateral donors such as USAID/BHA, BPRM, DFID/FCDO, ECHO/EU, SIDA, DANIDA, GAC and 5UN (i.e. WFP, UNICEF, UNHCR, FAO and OCHA). At the international level, Erickson is currently working with World Vision International-South Sudan as Chief of Party for the USAID/BHA-funded multi-year Emergency Food Security Program entitled “Accelerating Recovery and Resilience in South Sudan (ACCESS) Activity. He has also been appointed to be the Interim Resource Acquisition and Partnerships Director since last month. He worked with Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in the Central African Republic as Head of Programmes, with Action Against Hunger (ACF) in South Sudan as Programs Director and with UNDP South Sudan as a Statistics Coordinator. Erickson has professional working competency in both English and French.
