Ha is a gender specialist with 20 years of experience in research and program management with particular focus on 1) empowerment and civil society development, 2) agriculture value chains, 3) sustainable livelihoods, 4) natural resource management, 5) bioeconomy, 6) sustainable production and consumption, 7) gender mainstreaming and inclusive processes. She has led several initiatives that have built institutional capacity on gender, and mainstreaming gender into development programs. She is experienced in leading and conducting research, study and assessment using participatory approaches. She has a strong commitment to issues of economic and social justice, and finding ways to achieve these by empowering marginalized social groups and communities to fight injustice, and expanding spaces to promote voices of civil society. Ha has a master in gender and development studies specializing in environment.
