I have gained extensive experience in Domestic Revenue Mobilization and Public Financial Management field in conflict-affected countries, for over a decade. In my present role as an Revenue mobilization expert-International- with Somalia , I have had many achievements including, but not limited to: - 1- Applications of tax law (Moving away from negotiated fees to the application of tax laws. 2-Developed and modernized the tax administration system by moving away type of tax arrangements and focused on functions, as a result, Somalia has functions based tax administration system 3-Removing intermediary of cash collection by connecting tax payers to the commercial banks for tax payments. I coordinated well with IMF Extended credit facility with the government of Somalia.
