Over twenty years of strategic management of complex programs, iflencing policy reforms around development finance and resource governance in the Asia Pacific region with attention to environmental and social safeguards, accountability, financial integrity and stakeholder engagement. Most recently, engaged with UN's High Level Panel on Financial Accountability, Transparency and Integrity (FACTI) and the Asian Development Bank's ongoing stakeholder engagement to review and strengthen its safeguard policy and implementation framework. Previously, I was the Asia Pacific Director for Natural Resource Governance Institute and Asia Program Director for Bank Information Center. Earlier, I supported the organizations of small farmers, demobilized combatants, and communities in fragile and conflict affected economies. Criss-crossing the working environments of the Philippine President’s Office, international non-profits, UN, multilateral development banks, agribusiness, and extractive companies, my roles brought me to handling complex, cross-functional programs in Greater Mekong, maritime Southeast Asia, Mongolia, South Asia, and USA. Leadership strengths and expertise: strategic partnership with government partnerships around policy advice, capacity building, and research; managing stakeholder engagment involving the multilateral development banks (MDBs) private sector, civil society and affected communities; handling complex, multi-country and cross-functional programs; people management: convening and capacity building: research and policy management; interpersonal, fundraising and communication skills: in-depth experience in the use and monitoring of international environmental and social safeguards standards, accountability mechanisms and resource governance diagnostics frameworks.
