A versatile public health professional with extensive expertise (12+ years) in leading highly performing teams which has significantly contributed to the improvement in the health and socio-economic status (and its determinants) among underserved human populations using evidence based public health approaches to design, manage, implement, monitor and improve the effectiveness of global health programs while documenting/communicating the lessons learned. Specifically, I have had the privilege of leading the implementation of large, complex donor funded programs i.e. Supply chain management for HIV/AIDS, FP/MNCH, TB and Malaria (procurement budget of >$500m for about 5 years) and also comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment programs, which involve Program management (program design/implementation, start up/scale up, strong financial/resource management; etc); Health systems strengthening towards sustainability and government ownership; Monitoring and Evaluation (including MIS design), Performance management; Quality Management/quality improvement.
