Summary

A public health physician with ten years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of development projects focusing on HIV and AIDS, Maternal and Child Health, Family Planning and Disease Surveillance programs in West and Central Africa region. Experienced in designing and maintaining web-based and mobile-platform routine data collection systems using DHIS2, data reporting tools, roll out and implementation, including supervising and leading teams in various long and short term data collection and information management exercises and projects. Highly skilled in the use of statistical analysis software (STATA, SPSS, Epi-Info, MS Excel), and open source database technologies (DHIS2, MySQL and PostgreSQL) as well as GIS mapping and visualization technologies (QGIS and AGOL). He has proven ability to manage monitoring and evaluation of national and multi-country development projects to the highest standard, with a meticulous attention to detail. Possesses excellent project management and M&E capacity building skills from curriculum design to hands-on practical delivery using evidence-based approaches. Expertise in working with countries to develop national action plans for health security (NAPHS) to implement the 19 technical areas of International Health Regulations (IHR 2005). Proficient in conducting data quality assessments (DQA), project evaluation, research and quality improvement initiatives.
