I have rich experience in project/program management , leadership, and administration in the public health field particularly Reproductive, maternal newborn child health, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, health system strengthening through working with international organizations. I have managed different donor funds including USAID,DFID/FCDO,GAC/CIDA,NORAD,UNICEF,foundations and trust funds.I have also experience in managing and coordinating consortiums at different times with excellent coordination and leadership skills where I led high caliber talented employees during my career life.I have also good skills in working with government counterparts and academic institutions where I have managed to closely work with higher officials of MOH of Ethiopia and Malawi. In Ethiopia, in my recent program,I managed to establish a center of excellence at teaching hospitals and quality assurance hubs in general hospitals in the country for FP and safe abortion services . In addition, established a system of mentorship for FP and safe abortion services across 120 hospitals and over 2000 health centers in the country. While working with CCFC, managed to put 10,000 PLWHA on ART through a large national ART program in Ethiopia.
