A qualified project director and manager with 23 years commercial, organizational, and financial management experience running large multi-million dollar agricultural and livestock projects across three African regions. I possess extensive business, agricultural, and livestock technical, and farmer group/coop development expertise and effectively worked on agricultural development projects across Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. I have managed and supervised 291 long term field and technical staff and 25 short term technical staff in a number of complex multi-cultural settings across 10 different projects. I am technically well versed in all technical matters related to min and zero-tillage cropping practices. Current Programme Manager for a DfID funded five year $30m Conservation Farming programme which has a large-scale animal draft and mechanized min tillage service provision component across Zambia. I have been instrumental in securing development assistance grants valued at $80m for several organisations from four large-scale international donors including DfID, USAID, NORAD, and UNDP. I am bilingual – French/English, having worked in francophone countries for over 6 years.
