Mrs SAHA is a forest, wildlife and water engineer (Master) with specialized training in project management, monitoring and evaluation. With more than 13 years of experience in development and advisory practice, Mrs. SAHA has acquired technical and strategic competency in capacity strengthening, forestry and environmental sustainability. She works with representatives from Ministries of Forestry and Environment, local authorities in Cameroonian forest area and national and international development partners. Issues relating to the poor and marginalized, particularly those of women and minorities are central to her work. She initiated and designed several successful project proposals funded by the European Commission, Congo Basin forest fund, International Fund for Agricultural Development, among others. As senior advisor at the Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV), she coordinated the launching phase of a forest law enforcement project, developed and monitored technical and financial plans. As Central Africa manager for the Landscapes and livelihoods program of Rainforest Alliance since 2014, she coordinated several projects among them a GEF project covering 5 countries in Central Africa and a CBFF funded project in Cameroon. Mrs Saha is bilingual in French and English languages.
