Richard is an independent consultant and advisor who works generally in the development, procurement and management of infrastructure and construction projects. He has 20 years professional experience - predominately on an international level - and has been involved in a wide variety of projects within the commercial, academic and humanitarian sectors. His clients are mainly consulting firms, public clients and private investors, but also aid-agencies. Richard’s expertise is in project management, PPP transaction advice, feasibility studies, due diligence, project development & procurement, supervisions, project audits, design reviews, monitoring & evaluation, business development, institutional development, capacity building, change management, commercial claims, contract and commercial management. Richard is well versed with FIDIC, EU, World Bank and Regional Development Banks’ contract conditions & procurement rules. Contracts may be for Services, Works, Design-Build, EPC or more complex contract structures such as PPP Concession Agreements. He is an expert member (CCME) of the International Association for Contract & Commercial Management (IACCM; License 14081910). Richard speaks Spanish, English and German fluently and has experience in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
