Nearly four decades of experience in development management, situation assessment, institutional development and capacity building in Africa, including over 20 years as Chief of Party and/or Regional/Country Representative. Extensive experience in designing, managing and implementing regional trade, agriculture and food security development programs. Wide experience and expertise in agricultural value chain development, including crop and livestock production, processing and marketing in developing countries. Over 12 years of experience in developing and implementing food security focused programs. In depth knowledge and experience in techniques for establishing coordinated/collaborative systems for information gathering, analysis and development of appropriate humanitarian and development responses/interventions. Considerable experience in U.S. Government planning, analysis and evaluation. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English (native) and French (full and technical fluency).
