Customs, border management and trade facilitation expert with over 26 years of experience, gained both as a serving UK Customs Officer and on several overseas development projects. Well versed in Customs, Border Management, Single window, Trade Facilitation and logistics procedures. He has recently completed an EU Project Trade Related Assistance Programme in Papua New Guinea as Key Expert for Trade Facilitation and Deputy Team Leader. He has held similar positions both as Team Leader and senior expert on several Customs, trade facilitation, Single Window projects in developing countries (with ADB, World Bank, UKAID, EU, GIZ, USAID); including Central Asia, South East Asia, Africa, the Pacific Islands, the Caribbean, Middle East. Fully conversant with World Trade Organization Trade Agreement and Revised Kyoto Convention and its protocols; chain supply security and international agreements. He is full member of the Institute of Export and Institute of Leadership and Management.
