Top nonprofit employers working with USAID
A look into the top jobs offered by USAID’s largest partners during the year, based on analysis of Devex's job board data.

In the fiscal year from October 2023 to September 2024, the agency obligated $5.8 billion to nonprofit recipients, with Catholic Relief Services ranking as the top recipient, according to USASpending. In this article, we look at USAID’s largest partners and identify what jobs they offered during the year. Of the top 10 employers, eight post regular positions with Devex. Based on Devex’s job board, there have been 2,675 job postings from those top nonprofit organizations over the past twelve months. Top nonprofit employers working with USAID 1. RTI International Headquarters: North Carolina, USA Year founded: 1958 Total jobs posted over 12 months: 327 RTI is an independent research institute focused on addressing global challenges by delivering data through scientific research and analysis. Over the past 12 months, RTI advertised roles related to media and communications, research, health, and water sectors. FHI 360 Headquarters: North Carolina, USA Year founded: 1971 Total jobs posted over 12 months: 714 FHI 360 mobilizes research, resources, and relationships to provide global access to social and economic opportunities, health, and well-being. FHI 360 promoted administrative and project management positions such as finance managers and program officers over the past 12 months. Save the Children Headquarters: London, United Kingdom Year founded: 1919 Total jobs posted over 12 months: 140 Save the Children is a global organization focused on child-focused humanitarian response. In the previous 12 months, Save the Children released administrative, monitoring and evaluation, education, government relations, health, and social inclusion-focused roles such as MEAL directors, humanitarian advisers, and lead associates.
