Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is interested to work in the international development sector within a friendly and dynamic team. The primary purpose of this position is to support our project teams in all administrative and technical tasks with a specific focus on recruitment along with business development for international clients and donors. You will work with our Frameworks and Business Development teams supporting bidding for projects in the international development space.

If you are a person who would like to develop your recruitment skills, identify talent for future project opportunities and proactively support and advise on how to best compose teams and present them to the client, you are the right candidate. We provide internal training in the recruitment process and systems and business development cycle.

Main Duties:

As a Business Development and Administration Officer, you will:

  • Actively support business development and bidding activities across the bid cycle.
  • Searching and identifying the right candidates for our projects using different talent databases in line with the direct sourcing strategy.
  • Manage our online talent database including posting adverts and running recruitment campaigns.
  • Pre-screen applications and provide high-quality shortlists of diverse and qualified candidates.
  • Cooperate with consultants while adjusting their CVs to the required format.
  • Negotiate fee rates, conduct due diligence, and prepare contracts.
  • Build and develop talent pools of qualified candidates.
  • Cooperate with managers to adapt to their recruitment needs and requirements.
  • Support various activities relating to the entire project cycle (bidding, management, and closure of the projects).
  • Other tasks supporting project/office management and administration are to be assigned as agreed.

Aptitude and skills

  • Good knowledge of MS Office package.
  • Fluency in English is essential, (knowledge of Poland is an advantage).
  • Highly organised in planning, explaining procedures, and maintaining documentation.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
  • High level of initiative; problem-solving and organisational agility; attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Good collaboration skills, ability to work as a team member and with limited supervision.
  • Experience in using recruitment systems preferably in a multi-national organisation.
