The purpose of this APS is to solicit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and grant applications from qualified, legally registered Ugandan Industry Apex Organizations (IAOs) and/or private sector communication firms to support Activity partner IAOs in developing and/or rolling out innovative communication solutions to effectively reach out to their members and relevant stakeholders. All awards issued under this APS will be to further advance the objectives of Feed the Future Uganda ISS Activity to facilitate agriculture-led economic growth in Uganda.
The Feed the Future Uganda ISS Activity is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and is being implemented by DT Global International Development USA Ltd., (formerly known as Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd.). The Activity will improve the effectiveness of Government of Uganda (GOU) Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and IAOs that are vital to driving inclusive agriculture-led economic growth. The Activity approach will focus on developing public-private dialogue platforms and reform coalitions to drive behavior change, targeting actions and attitudes that hinder agribusiness productivity and growth – particularly among MDAs within the GOU. This approach will focus on private and public institutions alike, to align incentives and develop stronger connections between the two.
DT Global is driven by a fundamental commitment to one goal: to work in partnership with communities, governments, and the private sector to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that transform lives beyond expectations. DT Global—launched in 2019—is built on legacy companies AECOM International Development’s Services Sector, Development Transformations, IMC Worldwide, and Cardno International Development. To fulfill its profit-for-purpose mission, DT Global is a key donor to the DT Institute, an independent not-for-profit organization, in support of DTI’s efforts to test new ideas or expand on donor partner priorities with the aim to improve as many lives as possible.
