Contribute to the mandate of ESCAP to promote sustainable and inclusive development and regional connectivity in the Asia and Pacific region.
Support the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM) in enhancing technical cooperation, exchange of information, knowledge sharing, and research promotion in sustainable agricultural mechanization and technology.
Work full-time (37.5 hours per week) under the supervision of a staff member in the assigned division or office.
Internship is UNPAID; minimum duration is 2 months, extendable up to 6 months.
Qualifications/Special Skills
Must meet one of the following:
Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or higher).
Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
Languages
Fluency in English is required.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
Additional Information
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations.
Costs for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or sponsoring institutions.
Interns who are not citizens or permanent residents of the host country may need to obtain appropriate visa and work/employment authorization.
