Support programme management of the ARISE Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies, strengthening private sector engagement for disaster risk reduction
Collaborate with the Corporate Chief Resilience Officers (CCRO) network and other relevant partners and initiatives
Support outreach and content development for UNDRR and ARISE websites, workspaces, social media, and other channels, focusing on impact stories
Assist in organizing ARISE webinars, meetings, workshops, and side events
Enhance and maintain databases, collecting and systematizing information on members, projects, tools, and other relevant initiatives
Conduct data analysis, visualization, and reporting
Research, analyze, and present information about private sector contributions to disaster risk reduction, supply chain and SME disaster resilience, and other relevant topics
Provide support for policy development and preparation of written outputs, including draft background papers, analytical notes, report sections, presentations, meeting minutes, talking points, and speeches
Provide ad hoc support to other UNDRR partnership and stakeholder engagement work
Qualifications / Special Skills
Must meet one of the following criteria:
Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or higher)
Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level)
No professional work experience is required
Field of study should be closely related to the type of internship applied for
Must provide proof of enrollment or degree completion
Languages
Fluency in English is required
Knowledge of Spanish is desirable
Knowledge of an additional UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset

Intern Specific Information
Internship is UNPAID and full-time (five days per week)
