Assist with content creation and design of social media posts; conduct analysis of social media metrics.
Support the production of communication products, including research, compiling information, coordinating logistics, and assisting with public inquiries.
Assist with preparations for events, visits from high-level officials from headquarters and field offices, and speaking engagements.
Compile, analyze, and organize data for office reports.
Attend meetings and draft summaries.
Perform other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications/Special Skills
Applicants must meet one of the following:
Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
A field of study closely related to the type of internship applied for is required.
Applicants must be a student in the final year of a bachelor’s program, master’s or Ph.D. program, or have completed such programs.
Proof of enrollment or completion must be provided at application and officially verified later.
Languages
Fluency in English is required.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

Internship duration: 3 months, with the possibility of extension for an additional 3 months.
