Division of Partnerships and Specialized Support (DPSS) supports UNSMS operations in physical security, training, close protection services, critical incident stress management, road safety, innovations, and digital transformation
Internship duration: 3–6 months, full-time (35 hours/week), in person; part-time (<34 hours/week) or hybrid (20 hours/week) arrangements may be possible on request
Intern reports to a staff member in the assigned office
The Training & Development Section (TDS) intern will assist with managing and administering undsslearning.org
Practical experience in managing an enterprise learning platform, designing and delivering online training programmes, and using learning data to improve performance
Internship Duties
Assist with creation, configuration, and archiving of online courses in the Learning Management System (LMS)
Support learner enrolments and issue course completion certificates
Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records
Run and compile reports on enrolment, participation, completion, and feedback
Assist in preparation for migration to a new system-wide learning platform, including data verification, record cleanup, and testing
Respond to learner inquiries and provide basic troubleshooting support
Conduct quality checks on courses prior to launch to ensure functionality and consistency
Help prepare and update user guides, SOPs, and FAQs
Qualifications/Special Skills
Enrolled in a graduate programme (second university degree or higher), or in the final year of a first university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent), or already graduated with a university degree

English and French are UN working languages
Fluency in English (oral and written) is required
