Douglas Hinrichs is an international low-carbon energy, climate change, and economic development Chief of Party/Team Leader with over 25 years of diverse experience in Africa, Asia, and Latin America-Caribbean regions. He has provided team leadership, strategic direction, program design and management, budget development, technology characterization, and project financing for international, national, and local public sector clients including USAID, MCC, UKAID, USDOE, USEPA, USDOD, USTDA, as well as several private sector energy companies. He collaborated with electricity utilities, regulatory agencies, and legislative bodies in the US, Eastern Europe, Jamaica, Pakistan, Nigeria and Nepal; and international finance institutions including AfDB, ADB, World Bank, IFC, MIGA, Ex/Im, and DFC.
