Independent governance, conflict and development consultant with over 13 years of experience designing and managing innovative, strategic, and impactful stabilisation, governance, and capacity building programmes in the Middle East. Work has focused on exploring how youth, women, civil society, and local actors can positively change governance systems and practices in conflict and fragile environments. Firmly believes in human-centred approach to designing conflict and development interventions. Being a passionate civil society activist, served for four years on the Board of the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections. As an experienced facilitator, undertook several advanced Training of Trainers, including CDA’s Master Training on designing effective peacebuilding programming in conflict environments. Enjoys native fluency in English and Arabic, competency in French, and a command of Turkish.
