Support content creation and engagement across Chinese-language social media platforms such as Weibo, Kuaishou, and Bilibili.
Research, compile, draft, and edit text, images, videos, and infographics for Chinese social media content, often under tight deadlines.
Monitor and analyze social media statistics, including engagement metrics, audience analytics, content performance, and platform-specific metrics.
Capture highlights from special events promoting UN mandates held at UN Headquarters in New York.
Develop creative content tailored for platforms to communicate UN priorities, including Sustainable Development Goals, climate action, and peacebuilding, targeting younger and broader Chinese-speaking audiences.
Edit short-form and long-form video content for various social platforms.
Attend meetings as an observer, manage meeting agendas, and draft meeting notes.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Work full-time in person for a minimum of three months; remote work may be possible until G-4 visa and travel documents are obtained.
Qualifications/Special Skills
Enrolled in or completed a graduate programme (second university degree or higher), or final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level).
Demonstrated interest in the work of the United Nations and commitment to the ideals of the Charter.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Languages
Fluency in Chinese (oral and written) is required.
Knowledge of English, French, Arabic, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Kiswahili, or Hindi is desirable.
