Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing projects of the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM).
  • Assist in social media outreach and communication activities.
  • Provide administrative support to staff and project teams.
  • Work on presentations and documentation as needed.
  • Consolidate, sort, and manage project-related data.
  • Undertake other tasks depending on background and internship period.

Qualifications / Special Skills

  • Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
    • Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
    • Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).

Languages

  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
  • Fluency in English is required for the internship programme.

Additional Information

  • This is an unpaid internship.
  • Interns are responsible for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses.
  • Non-citizen interns may require visas or work/employment authorization.
  • Successful candidates should confirm specific visa requirements before accepting the internship offer.

Intern Specific Text

  • Interns work full-time, five days per week (37.5 hours).
  • Minimum duration is two months, extendable up to six months.
  • Interns work under the supervision of a staff member in the assigned division or office.
