Richard has over twenty years of combined experience working with private and public sector stakeholders in clean energy policy development and analysis as well as experience in conducting clean energy projects due diligence, development and financing. He has completed a number of clean energy project management, research-based data collection studies that supported improved energy utilization and access as well as rural industrialization working with development partners, GIZ, GET-Invest, NEFCO, AFD, the African Development Bank (AfDB), GreenMax Capital Advisors, Energy 4 Impact, Project GAIA and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development that involved comprehensive reviews of concept notes, proposals, energy policies, laws and regulatory frameworks for Uganda and the East African region. Richard has broad project development expertise for country energy policy, energy efficiency strategies and energy performance standards.
