My career trajectory in Human Resources has been impressive and growing exponentially since 2004 when I entered the HR field as an intern, then Assistant HR, then HR Officer in a corporate set up. Then later in 2012, joined INGO as Senior People and Organizational Development Officer. It was a world of learning how to do same things but in a different manner not forgetting the professionalism required. I learnt how to interact with organizational systems, handling different HR projects and initiative and interacting with consultants from all over the world. Participating in high level meetings to discuss people strategy and organizational branding. The International Livestock Research Institute sharpened my HR skills and competence in every area including stakeholder management and management of donor funds. It is as a result of this experience that I am currently engaged in supporting the government of South Sudan through Amref Health Africa in developing Human Resources for Health systems, support that I have been providing since 2017. It's challenging yet extremely fulfilling. I have been able to pull donors to the discussion table in an effort to finding ways in which we can pull funds together to support the ministry of health as they endeavor to implement Universal Health Coverage goals in the country.
