Support the Call for Proposals process and related project activities, including project follow-up, review of project extensions, and project closure tracking.
Draft articles, briefing notes, and other outreach communications to raise visibility of the global road safety crisis.
Support events, campaigns, projects, and activities planned by the UNRSF.
Support UNRSF social media activities.
Compile, track, and update project contributions to the Fund’s logical framework.
Prepare for and assist in the execution of workshops, events, and meetings hosted by the Secretariat, often involving project teams and other stakeholders.
Support project management activities, including monitoring, project closing, or extension processes.
Assist in outreach and development of strategic partnerships, including background research and communication with partner agencies.
Compile and manage databases of project information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records and maintaining master Excel documents essential to project operations.
Support internal and external communications with project stakeholders to follow up on project progress.
Coordinate meeting schedules and draft meeting minutes in an accurate, organized, and concise manner.
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications / Special Skills
Enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) or final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent).
Computer literate in standard software applications.
Demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and personal commitment to the ideals of the UN Charter.
Experience studying or working on road safety projects and/or advocacy is desirable.
No prior work experience is required; the internship should benefit the United Nations through the applicant’s education, training, or skills.

Languages
Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
Fluency in French or Spanish is considered an asset.
Additional Information
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations.
Travel, visa, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
Non-citizens or non-permanent residents may need to obtain the appropriate visa and work/employment authorization
