Program Background
The Southeast Asia and Australia Government Partnerships program (SEAG2G) aims to deepen institutional relationships between Australia and Southeast Asia in alignment with Australia’s International Development Policy.
SEAG2G supports Australian agencies to engage with their Southeast Asian counterparts across four thematic priorities:
SEAG2G is led by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT’s) Office of Southeast Asia, with DT Global as the managing contractor.
The Role
Reporting to SEAG2G’s GEDSI-MEL Manager and working closely with the SEAG2G MEL Lead, the MEL and GEDSI Coordinator will support the effective implementation of the program’s Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Strategy and MEL Plan. The role will also work collaboratively with the Partnership Leads, Communications and Learning Coordinator, Australian government entities and other stakeholders to support MEL and GEDSI activities. This will include qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, including related to GEDSI, across the range of program activities and partnerships. They will also support the program’s learning agenda and related processes, as well as the integration of cross cutting themes on climate change, First Nations engagement and localisation. As a Manila-based role, the GEDSI and MEL Coordinator will also support effective engagement with relevant Southeast Asian counterparts and networks, the SEAG2G Operations Support Team in Manila, as well as with DFAT Posts.
